Our mission is to keep in alignment with Wola Nani’s African meaning of “to develop and embrace each other”, through acceptance, compassion, and support.
Wola Nani is a non profit, behavior focused day program that is built on evidence based practices. Our program provides structured routines with therapeutic, recreational and life skills activities. Our goal is to assist individuals in learning independent living skills, emotional regulation, social, and communication skills, behavior support, redirection, and other skills. We have designed a few different rooms specifically to help with the various needs of our participants.
Participants of Wola Nani must meet the following requirements:
• Must have a current, clearly defined behavior plan prior to enrollment.
• Participants should have a structured, supportive environment for social engagement.
• Must be able to benefit from 3:1 staff to participant support ratio.
Eligibility based on need for individualized supervision and behavioral support
Wola Nani is designed to support adults ages 18–50 who may experience challenges with emotional and behavioral regulation. Participants may exhibit behaviors that can impact social interactions, including verbal or physical outbursts, heightened emotional responses, or episodes of aggression. Our program provides a structured, supportive environment focused on promoting positive behavior, personal growth, and community inclusion.
